Seventh Friday after Pentecost

I still need one more response to the survey. Thanks for the very encouraging words I have heard from you. I'm feeling very positive about the blog going forward.

Here are a couple of changes that I anticipate, though I've not finalized.

1. We will have a detailed Bible study on Acts, twice a week, or possibly three times a week, that will likely last until Christmas. 

2. I won't have a review day, but will give book, movie, etc. recommendations with just a sentence or two. 

3. I will continue the Monday Faith Journey narrative. 

4. I will continue Theology Day on Wednesday. We have finished The Apostles' Creed. I'm thinking about doing something on things in the Nicene Creed that are not in the Apostles' Creed. The Nicene Creed is a good deal longer. I would also like to do retrospectives on a few theologians, e.g. John Wesley, Martin Luther, and perhaps a few Biblical scholars and archaeologists, e.g. Kathleen Kenyon, Yigael Yadin 

5. I won't do a response to comments day, but will respond to individual comments on some days and sometimes with individual emails to folks rather than on the blog. 

6. I'll still do Prayer and Spirituality day on Thursdays,

7. I'll keep the blogs at the same length

8. I'll also start sending emails to some of you whom I know read the blog, just to find out how you're doing and what you're up to, and let you know a bit more about what is going on in Marianne's and my lives. I'm craving more human interaction.

Tomorrow is Bible Study day. Since Glenn brought up Psalm 8 in his comment today, that will be our study.
